Dr. Dave is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, Baltimore. His training allows him to see clients across the lifespan using customized, holistic, and evidence-based practice models. With nearly 2 decades of experience in mental health, he has delivered patient-centered care in various settings including inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency room, crisis intervention, consultation services in the general hospital population, nursing homes, assisted living, and outpatient psychiatry. He has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of patients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. He is currently a faculty member at Regis College, Massachusetts educating future nurse practitioners. He is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
